Wow there is so much comment on Climate Change right now. I have this dialogue going on in my head around this topic. It goes like this – yes I should be interested and then no I can’t be bothered. But really that isn’t good enough. This is our planet our environment our livelihood at stake and yet I’m not really caring.
Our issue is that farming creates much of our environment gases but farming is our main source of income for the country. So it’s balancing those gas emissions and still ensuring our economy grows and that its not hindered by extra costs etc on the farming sector.
So the question is how can I commit in my own way to climate change?
Well I guess just keep recycling, choosing products that don’t damage the enviroment like bio degradable washing powder, ensuring my car burns cleanly. Think about the next car I buy being an environmentally friendly one – mmm that will be a challenge to the ego! Yes I feel better now I might not understand “Carbon Credits” but I can keep doing things in my own way to save the world.
