A friend was talking recently about her King Lie. And I thought what on earth is that? She explained that most of us have some kind of main lie that we believe about ourselves. This more than likely is created in child hood through an incident or comment by someone, and we keep believing it as we grow up. Some examples of King Lie’s are I’m not perfect, I’m not good enough, I can’t do that etc. It is about doing a bit of digging within ourselves because there may be other smaller lie’s underneath the main one. To find out what your King Lie may be ask yourself what are the negative things I think about myself. When things go wrong what does my inner voice say to me? Once you know it you can then go about managing it and challenging it. Don’t let it run your life or what you think you can or can’t do because it is just a lie. A belief that is no longer of use and definitely does not serve you. It also damages your self-esteem. Remember you are a beautiful, gorgeous creation who has much to offer the world. What is your positive belief about yourself today?
What is your King Lie?
