Refund Policy

Refunds

The following terms and policies cover both individual sessions and group courses, whether in person or online. The following terms only apply to extent that they are not inconsistent with any applicable law.

Courses have a limited number of spaces available. Payment is made in full when signing up for a course.

Rescheduling of a Course

If for any reason we reschedule a course and you can attend the new date, your reservation will transfer to the new date. If the new date does not suit you, we will refund the amount paid by you.

If Unable to Attend

If you are unable to attend, notice must be given to us in writing:

  • SEVEN DAYS NOTICE must be given prior to the course date, in which case a full refund will be given.

  • If you are unable to attend, but give notice less than SEVEN DAYS from the start date of the course, no refund will be given. You may arrange for another person to attend in your place if you choose. Please contact us immediately with their details.

  • No further training materials or resources will be available once a withdrawal is made.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first recheck your bank account. Then contact your credit card company as it may take some time before your refund is officially processed. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is processed. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at allison@allisonfisher.co.nz.

Weather or Nature Events (Acts of God)

Commonly referred to as an “act of God” or a natural disaster, this is any event that cannot be foreseen or prevented by humans. Things we cannot prevent include any naturally occurring catastrophe, such as earthquakes, snow, tornadoes, hail, lightning, windstorms and of course, hurricanes. They also include pandemics and epidemics.

If a teacher or venue is not available because of an "act of God" no refunds will be issued. Instead, the session will be rescheduled to a later date (and possibly a new venue) within a six-month period. If the new date does not suit you, you will be refunded the amount you paid minus a $25 administration fee.

If a course participant cannot attend because of an "act of God" and the workshop takes place, no refunds will be issued.

Refunds and Cancellations

If for any reason the teacher has to cancel, other than for acts of God, you will be refunded the amount you paid, or your registration can be transferred to a new date at your request.

PLEASE NOTE: for ALL courses, whether cancelled or rescheduled, if payment was paid via Paypal, that a refund will be issued via Paypal and Paypal will remove any fees before depositing you the full amount.
